We are looking to hire an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Analyst to support the Communications department of our company in its primary and administrative duties. This work will be a critical factor for the smooth operation of the Marketing department and the attainment of its goals, as well as for the long-term growth of the company.

You will be reporting directly to the marketing director and assisting with all related tasks. The ideal candidate for this role has a strong background in Digital Marketing, and excellent communication skills, as well as experience working within an agency environment. Projects will include a broad range of digital marketing projects, public relations and virtual/hybrid events.

Responsibilities / Essential Job Functions

  • Assisting the Sales and Marketing departments with campaigns and events;
  • Creating email campaigns (copywriting and configuration within the email marketing tool);
  • Produce, edit, distribute and share engaging content on a regular basis for the company’s website, social media pages and for press releases (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news);
  • Performing administrative tasks such as updating spreadsheets and task-management tools;
  • Conducting market research, and surveys to gather feedback and insights;
  • Tracking the subscriber and follower counts;
  • Analyzing and tracking online marketing metrics;
  • Support marketing executives in organizing various projects;
  • Preparing and delivering promotional presentations.

Essential requirements and qualifications

  • English fluency with strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proven experience as a Digital Marketing;
  • High-level experience with different social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn;
  • Experience creating strong, engaging content for social media;
  • Ability to create design materials such as infographics, banners, social media posts, etc.
  • Organizational skills and extreme attention to detail;
  • Deadline-oriented and able to deliver high-quality work under pressure;
  • Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills;
  • Experience with a broad range of broad range of marketing strategies including Google Analytics, automation tools and social media management;
  • Able to run independently with minimal oversight in a fast-paced agency environment with rapidly changing priorities.

Desirable qualifications

  • Fluency in other languages is a plus (especially Spanish);
  • Interest and knowledge in sustainable development and island communities;
  • Experience creating video scripts and video content;
  • Video-editing skills;
  • Understanding and experience working with different organization profiles such as NGOs, governments, and private companies;
  • Experience working in a remote team environment.

Salary

Depending on experience. Please submit your salary expectations when you apply. This is a full-time remote position with some flexibility in structure. Please note that we are a small, community-focused social enterprise and salary expectations should be in line with the non-profit sector.
