We are looking to hire an enthusiastic Account Manager to act as a client advocate and work with internal departments to ensure that client needs are understood and satisfied. You will be reporting directly to the Accounts Director. The ideal candidate for this role has a strong background in Digital Marketing, and excellent communication skills, as well as experience working within an agency environment. Projects will include a broad range of digital marketing projects, public relations and virtual/hybrid events.

Responsibilities / Essential Job Functions

  • Communicating with clients to understand their needs and explain product value.
  • Building relationships with clients based on trust and respect
  • Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfillment.
  • Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes.
    Identifying industry trends.
  • Acting as a client advocate with a focus on improving the buyer experience
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients and communicating with them about the campaign progress and results
  • Managing the execution of multi-platform marketing campaigns by delegating tasks to cross-functional teams
  • Presenting post-campaign reports to clients and the Director of Creative Services, including data-driven insights and recommendations for strategy improvement
  • Cooperating with other departments to define marketing campaign plans and ensure they align with the desired outcomes

Essential requirements and qualifications

  • English fluency with strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • 3+ years of experience in Digital Marketing and Communications;
  • Experience managing clients in a B2B environment;
  • Knowledge of email marketing campaigns and social and digital ads (Facebook Ads, Paid search, etc.);
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with creative, technical, and other teams;
  • Experience in content creation, proofreading, and copy editing for social media channels and websites;
  • Experience in hosting and organizing virtual events.

Desirable qualifications

  • Fluency in other languages is a plus (especially Spanish);
  • Interest and knowledge in sustainable development and island communities;
  • Experience creating video scripts and video content;
  • Video and/or photo editing skills;
  • In-depth understanding of SEO;
  • Experience with CRM software;
  • Understanding and experience working with different organization profiles such as NGOs, governments, and private companies;
  • Experience working in a remote team environment;
  • A fair understanding of issues and opportunities in the realm of climate change, renewable energy, biodiversity, blue and green economies.

Salary
