Description:

Queen Quet is a global leader fighting to insure that resilience, adaptation, and climate change planning incorporates cultural heritage. She wants to insure that the economic prosperity of island communities is received by those that are native to these spaces instead of having those communities retreat as ‘climate refugees’ while others come in with large sums to rebuild in those spaces and then ‘sell” cultural tourism as part of the tourism industry.
