Charles Mizzi

Mr Mizzi began his career in the banking sector and worked with a number of local banks, occupying several roles in marketing and business development. In October 2014, he became Executive Director Media and Marketing of the Maltese Presidency for the European Council.

In 2017, he joined the Individual Investor Programme Agency as Chief Officer for Communications and Business Development, garnering important experience in the investment migration sector. Charles Mizzi graduated with a Masters in Business Administration from the Henley Business School.

Melissa Lamb

West coast American-born sales, business development and investor relations professional working globally in more than 50+ countries with over two decades of experience in international investment & media, iGaming, energy, financial services and IT Infrastructure industries. Melissa Lamb was one of the first to acquire the Maltese Nomad Residence Permit.
International Relations Manager, Heritage Malta

Russell Muscat

Russell Muscat is the International Relations manager of Heritage Malta, the national agency responsible for cultural heritage. He has been working in culture for more than 25 years and has extensive experience in the fields of communications, marketing and digitization. His recent activities are focusing on internationalization and making cultural heritage accessible in various ways and formats. He is currently working to network the vast potential of the field to different audiences abroad including the diasporas around the globe. This includes organizing exhibitions and events in different countries and help bring to Malta such initiatives.

Russell has spent a number of years as the Communications and Marketing manager of Heritage Malta. His main responsibilities involved in the dissemination of the agency’s agenda through public relations initiatives. He was also involved in the marketing field by organizing and facilitating cultural heritage events inside various local museums and sites. In the digitization field he was instrumental in the introduction of modern work practices within the organization and created a number of opportunities to the general public during the past two years of the pandemic. He was also an active member of Europeana and worked closely with Google Arts and Culture to digitize museums and sites and key elements of the national collection for such platforms.

He is currently working extensively in close connection with other players in the field such as the Malta Tourism Authority, particular Ministries such as Culture & Local Government and the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Malta Enterprise and others. The main aim is to promote extensively the potential in the field to give a broader perspective of the rich cultural material available in Malta. He is also involved in a number of European Union projects including Erasmus plus. He lives in Malta, loves the gaming world and is an avid reader of graphic novels.

Carina Dimech

Carina has been working in the Tourism Industry for the past 22 years. After graduating in Communication Studies and Psychology at the University of Malta she joined the Malta Tourism Authority engaging herself in a number of projects such as BlogIsland Malta and the Isle of MTV, amongst others.
She is currently involved in the marketing of Malta in the UK and international media from the UK and Ireland as well as the Gastronomy Segment.
Her passions are in fact very much related to her current project, The Malta Michelin Guide for Malta. Local food and wine are what sets her heart ticking, and hand in hand with that comes her interest in sustainability and how tourism and gastronomy can contribute positively to this effort.
